Sun, Sand, Sea.. And Rain.

As usual, a plan to visit Sentosa is always greeted with.... yes everybody say it together... RAIN.

Thank God it cleared up though it tended to remain threateningly cloudy most of the day.

So there we were at Sentosa - MH, Ron, Veron, Ben, Keong and myself... together with our VERY VERY late comers, Tim, Tiff and her BF.

Honestly, we are such nutcases... that no matter where we are, we are BOUND to have fun :)

Chased after a teenie little sotong which I spotted. Can you imagine, 5 grown adults (all settled in well-paying professional jobs) chasing after ONE TEENIE LITTLE SOTONG??!!!

Oh the poor sotong.

I screamed, "LOOK! BAK ZHAO YU!!!" (Ok, I know Bak Zhao Yu is NOT a sotong.. but it got the message across). And that scream had the rest of the gang (along with some little kids playing nearby) bounding into and out of the water. After stalking it for a full 30 seconds and watching it change colour in panic, it got away. Personally, I felt relieved for the poor little sotong.

There can't be many little sotongs left in Singapore waters.

I have no idea how it started, but we ended up trying to do cheerleading formations in the water, to much hilarious results.

All the cool people suntanning along the beach and the cool beach volleyball players were watching us in amusement.

We are SO uncool.

And honestly.... I like it that way. :)

Oh.. there was an Ah Pek, those seriously uncleuncle kopitiam types who was wearing a THONG and suntanning his bare butt.

It was a seriously disgusting sight. I was momentarily blinded by the sun shining off his bald head... and his oily butt.
